Jayce Cicinelli 

Hi, I'm Jayce Cicinelli, a sports journalism major at the Walter Cronkite school of journalism and mass communications at Arizona State University.

I am a sports radio play by play broadcaster through Blaze Radio which is an (Arizona State student radio) and has received many awards as one of the top student radio stations in the country.

 

 Throughout my time broadcasting on Blaze Radio, I have done ASU baseball, softball, football, and men and women's basketball. 

​

I had a summer internship for the company "Palm Springs Power" which is a baseball summer league in Palm Springs, California in summer from May to July of 2024.

​

I served as one of the play by play and color analysts of the Palm Springs Power and also served as one of the public address announcers during games all summer long.

 

My experience in sports include sports broadcasting, sports reporting, writing sports stories whether game stories, featured stories, profile stories, or season preview and wrap-up stories, sports talk podcasts, and editing.

I have a baseball broadcasting internship in summer of 2025 in the Northwoods League in Dickinson, North Dakota for the Badlands Big

Sticks.

I am also a sports journalist and got to write sport stories for a professional program called Cronkite News. I have experience interviewing MLB players during spring training and producing stories throughout the spring.
